Is the first consultation paid?
Lawyers' fees in Turkey can't fall below the minimum fee tariff set by the Union of Turkish Bar Associations. The fee and length of the meeting are given to you in writing beforehand.
Does sending the form make you my lawyer?
No. There's no lawyer-client relationship until a power of attorney is given and an engagement contract is signed. The form only requests a first consultation.
Do I have to go to a mediator before suing?
In a large share of employment, commercial, consumer and tenancy disputes, mediation is mandatory before going to court. We'll check together at the first meeting whether it applies to you.
Can you tell me the outcome in advance?
No lawyer can guarantee how a case will end. We explain the routes open to you, the likely timescales and the risks, and we decide together.
